Two-Year Pictures!

Special thanks to Rita Horst for being willing to spend the morning following a busy two-year-old trying to get some pictures and for letting us use the beautiful grounds of the Inn at Ragged Edge as a backdrop.

Happy Birthday!

 We've had a lot of fun celebrating our little girl turning two!  Hard to believe it's been two years since we welcomed her into our family; can't imagine life without her!

Cheese!

Lately the little one seems to have become quite interested in having her picture taken, declaring "Picture!" when she deems appropriate and giving an enthusiastic "Cheese!" when we pull out the camera. For some reason she also thinks it is important to include our dog in the photo-ops, encouraging him to cooperate by sweetly saying "Cheese, Wooton!"

Last weekend, we decided to head over to the pool for what we suspected might be the last swim of the year...when we told Bean, she went right to work getting ready to go...which to her meant adding her white butterfly wedge sandals, purse and sunglasses to her already fabulous pink and white striped leggings and the ever-popular fishy t-shirt...she's got style :)

One of Lynell's favorite words these days is "outside!" Rain or shine, she wants to be out of the house, running around and playing or helping us tend to the gardens.
